Elliott Smith

During one of my many late night study sessions on couch listening to Sirus XM U, I came across this song called Needle In The Hay and I fell in love with the song lyrics and vocals, it all just flowed together so perfectly. So when I finally looked up to see who this musical genius was, his name was Elliott Smith. Unfortunately when I went to check out his background story I discovered he committed suicide,this mans voice was super amazing.Very calm and relaxing I love love love!!!! this song.Everyone needs to go check it out.

Homecoming

Attention all high school students,
It looks like Homecoming season is among us! Probaly one of the best highschool memories you can ever have until prom. Even I one of the few that have no school spirit whatsoever have decided to participate in this years events, because it is my senior year. Dress shopping has never been so stressful. Finally i have found my dream dress (vintage b&w striped 1 shoulder mini dress)now all i need is the jewlery and clutch to match.

Little Dragon.

I just fell in love with this amazing band called Little Dragons, soooooo good!! Their sounds kinda soul meets electro pop-ish, judge for yourself, Theres this song called Blinking Pigs the video is super adorable check it out!

Sperry's

Ok, so apparently the new style in Texas is to look like an 80 year old retired man who spends time on his boat and golfing. (Why would you ever think that gabby?) I'm glad you asked!!! I have come to this conclusion after seeing these GAWD AWFUL shoes called Sperry Topsiders there's no contest this shoe beats out Uggs and Crocs for the ugliest shoe of all times. NOTHING about this shoes is appealing unless you like that whole "I've added 70 years to my age just by wearing these shoes". If you like the Sperry look at least buy a cooler pair like the Zapato Del Barco at Vans.

my new shoes!

Ok so I've been blogging a lot lately but btw school and work, I've had no time to take any pics. I was supposed to post all the outfits I wore on my first week of school last night but I fell asleep.Unfortunately I still haven't had the time to take the pics HOWEVER I totally forgot that I bought sooooo many shoes that I can show right now, so I think I will.

student teacher "relationship?"

So a few days ago I was watching all the shows that take up space in my dvr every week. I've got the usual set to record, Pretty Little Liars, Make it or Break it, Huge, Gossip Girl, 90210, One Tree Hill and 43 others. While enjoying my evening with my back to drama series shows, I noticed a new trend emerging in every plot line.... sweet, gorgeous, adorable girls falling for smoking hot male teachers. (YUM!!!!!! delicious combination) right???? I love these relationships (even though there close to nearly impossible of actually happening). I think the t.v writers have found a new way to keep viewers hooked, instead of always getting the good girl knocked up, we get her to have an affair with her teacher who looks like a Calvin Kline underwear model. I don't know about the rest of you television junkies but I love, love, LOVE, this concept probably because its something that would never happen even though I wish it would but none of my teachers look like Ezra Fitz!!

ok so recently i was watching i heart hipsters on current tv.(awesome show) and I came across a segment about this new dance movement sweeping across Europe called TECKTONIK.
coolest thing ever!!!! As an onlooker it kinda looks like a cross between voguing and break dancing, but when closer inspected you find that its really not. Its a dance based around electro music that incorporates super flexible movements. This dance craze has got french teens and young adults going crazy (in a good way) the dance has inspired a whole new fabulous style of clothing and attitude. you can walk through the streets of Paris and find crews such as Warriors Electro dancing and battling other crews.the energy i got from just watching the dancers on YouTube and current t.v was amazing, just watching the crews and people gather in circles in the street and let the music take control was awesome...it was the like for that 1 moment it was just them and the beat moving together as 1.something else that i was interested to find out is that its not one specific group that's into tecktonik its everyone coming together one beat at a time.

I don't like black girls

ok. so a few days ago i heard the most disrespectful thing while i was in my summer school class, a guy said "I hate black girls" hows that for a first impression?????? when i turned around to see who this person might be...........you can my startled expression to find that he was most definately mixed with black(turns out he's black and indian) after i heard that...i made no comment like the old me would have done. i decided i was going to be the black girl to change his mind about his dislike of the opposite sex but same race.....yea didnt work out hes a total and complete jackass. i hate to hear his voice and look at his stupid face.....

it gets worst

this morning while flipping from channel to channel i stumbled across an old americas next top model episode i see one of the models being harshly judged over the picture, i see her begining to cry and so naturaly i continue to watch. she telsl the panel that she strugled with the shoot after her french male model extra tells her that he does not like black women..........

WHAT THE HELL?????????

will someone please tell me what is so wrong with black women....i guess i never got the memo I am a black women and am so proud to be one when i look at all the fabulous, and inspirational black women in world i feel proud and amazed at what can be accomplished please post comments on this i would love to know what others are thinking

new year = new changes

the new year has finally come, and i have not touched a computer since............before thanksgiving i believe.
yesturday was the last day of my 2nd week back @ skol.
we had exams...........................( hopefully i passed so i can spend my summer in l.a and not summer skol)
I Cut My Hair!..( its kinda lik a bob/ not) ((i luv it))
k so i finally got sum cash:) and like always i plan to spend on cds, clothes, art, and other stuff ;)
i just bought radiohead's newest cd in rainbows ( its super awesomely amazing!)
AND i bought alice in chains greatest hits cd....(usually i dont really go 4 the greatest hits cd but its still really good.)
So even though its still winter here........i wana invite new clothes into my closet.
so today i plan to go shopping( every girls favorite pastime (j.k)
